Juliette is the only one standing in The Reestablishment's way. She knows that if she's going to survive, The Reestablishment cannot.
But to take down The Reestablishment and the man who nearly killed her, Juliette will need the help of the of one person she never thought she could trust: Warner.

We left off in the last book of Juliette being caught and shot by Anderson and Warner trying to save her, using Sonya and Sara's powers to heal her. Juliette is told all her friends could be dead, everyone she loves and cares for. Now healed and ready for revenge, Juliette and Warner head out to see whats left after the war, to find out not all are dead. There are eight survivors, but are they ready to fight? Some are not tied to the idea of Warner helping, still not trusting him after destroying Omega Point, But he is standing by Juliette no matter what. Though her love for Adam is still there somethings don't stay the same as her love for Warner grows. Her friendship with Kenji helps her as he convinces everyone to help her killed Anderson, rescue Sonya and Sara and take over The Reestablishment.

This was the perfect steamy, badass, powerful way to end this series! I waited way to long for this and for Juliette and Warner to get together. *which was worth it!!* Juliette grows so much in this final book. She can finally control her powers and is more than really to use them. Hellbent on killing Anderson she works along side of Warner, who has shown his true colours and is really to help kill his father. Getting the help of the only survivors of the destruction of Omega Point, they go out of their way to save Sonya and Sara. Though nothing is easy when you have Adam being an asshole, still in thought that he and Juliette are together and she is turning on him and everyone by working with Warner. In the end he comes to and helps her take over The Reestablishment she will now rule with Warner. Tahereh is a brilliant mind that never stops amazing me. I love her work so much and can not wait for more, though this story has come to an end it will never end in our hearts in mind.
Juliette has escaped from The Reestablishment but not from Warner. CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO!!!!! You'll get that if you've read the book.
This book was even better than the first, once again praise to Tahereh to have written a book with such passion that is beautifully fulled with raw emotion. This book has you feeling everything. From happiness, sadness, it pisses you off and make you want to tear the book up *Which you should NEVER do!!!!* but it's done in a way that make you love the book so much more. I have a love/hate relationship with chapter sixty-two. Love because I was waiting for that to happen the whole time, even with the first book. Hate because what happens at the end of the chapter, like no Juliette stop being an idiot and LOVE him!!!! I don't think anyone can some up how beautiful and wonderful this book is, but I can tell you that I don't care how you are, you have to love this book. But Juliette has plans of her own. After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time--and to find a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever.

Shatter me is about a girl "Juliette Ferrars" who has a strange power. She can kill someone with a touch, She has killed someone. Abandoned by her parents she's threw in isolation with nothing but an old bed, crappy blanket and pillow along with a pen and notepad she stole. 264 days she's been locked up, all alone never spoken to even when a guard gives her food through a slot in the door or when the door opens letting her go to the showers. Every day the same until on day she wakes to find a boy in her room, a hot boy, none the less. He steals her bed, blanket, and crappy pillow while never shutting up. Juliette who has gotten use to the loneliness is thrown back by this loud mouth, but what if she grows to like him, he becomes her only friend-- or so she thought. All is turned around when guards brake into her cell and knock them out. Then she wakes only to find out Adam is a guard and works for a young, beautiful boy who want to use her power for bad. But he's not as bad as he seems, Warner treats her right giving her her own room *even if it's covered in cameras* beautiful dresses and enough food to feed a army but still wants her power. Just when she thinks she's alone and lost her only friend, Adam brakes everything she's ever known when he tell her he can touch her, for a girl her can't touch, or be touched that's something big. It gets better thought when he tells her how much he cares for her and how he'll get her out. All seems to be going well but that ever last, like Warner would let Juliette go that easy, he still has his plans for her and will give up on nothing for them to happen.

Not going to lie, I bought this book just because of it's cover...I mean look at it, It's gorgeous. And the book is even better. I was drawn in by the beautiful cover and blown away by a fantastic book. Tahereh Mafi has not only a lovely name but a lovely well mannered way of writing. She writes so beautifully and makes you feel as if your in the book living the story. *Which is what you want to feel with every book you read!!!* I felt a contention with Juliette- though I don't have powers to kill someone or been locked up for 264 days-- I still known how it is to be lonely and feel like an outcast. I couldn't decide how I felt about Adam or Warner, I thought I hated Warner but the more you read of the series you can't tell me you don't fall in love with him, I don't care who you are. I've read these books probably too many <strike>not enough</strike> times. You can ever get sick of them. It's like your reading it for the first time every time you pick it up. I HIGHLY recommend you read this series, it's amazing and worth every second of it!!

OKAY, MAYBE THAT WAS A BIT MELODRAMATIC, but I'm sorry, I'm feeling a bit melodramatic at the moment.
Here's the deal. My name is Brooklyn Pierce, I'm fifteen years old, and I am decisionally challenged. Seriously, I can't remember the last good decision I made. I can remember plenty of crappy ones though. Including the party I threw when my parents were out of town that accidentally burned down a model home.
Yeah, not my finest moment, for sure.
But see, that's why I started this blog. To enlist readers to make my decisions for me. That's right. I gave up. Threw in the towel. I let someone else decided which book I read for English. And whether or not I accepted an invitation to the join the debate team from that cute-in-a-dorky-sort-of-way guy who gave me the Heimlich maneuver in the cafeteria. (Note to self: Chew the melon before swallowing it.) I even let them decide who I dated!
Well, it turns out there are some things in life you simply can't choose or have chosen for you-- like who you fall in love with. And now everything's more screwed up than ever.
But don't take my word for it. Read the book and decide for yourself. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll scream in frustration. Or maybe that's just me. After all, it's my life.

Brooklyn Pierce isn't the best a decision making, if it's not falling down a mine shaft it's throwing a party while her parents are gone a burning a model home down. Let's not forget smoking outside of school... Finally Brooklyn's parents have had enough, and so has the judge giving her Two hundred hours of community service- She get's stuck helping out in a nursing home where she meets Mrs. Moody *Who's name fits* She spends her time reading to Mrs. Moody to find a name in the back of the oh so loved books "Nicholas Townley" Wonder who that could be? Adding on to her horrible community service her life at school isn't any better- Her best friend has now given her the cold shoulder after she's the one who PLANED the party which Brooklyn got in trouble for, But not all life at school is bad once she meets the new boy "Hunter Wallace Hamilton... the third"!! *cool name, right?* Still Brooklyn has no clue what to do, so in makes a blog to enlist readers to make the decisions for her- decisions from what book to read, to go to new boy's dad's club opening, join the debate club, even down to who to date!!! Probably not the best idea, things could down from her if people find out she's the one writing the blog, But worse if the two boy's she what them to choose to be her boyfriend see. But hey, that's life.

This book was so funny to me. The idea for someone getting others to made their decisions is too funny. I love Jessica work, she has this great way of writing that anyone of any age can enjoy her books. Not going to lie but this book was a bit of a slow read for me at first but once you get into it you can't stop. *I may or may not have been up until three a.m reading...* I saw the thing a the end coming and got so happy when it really happened!! *Can't say what it is being as I'm trying not to spoil the book for once!* This book is very enjoyable and a great read. I give it five stars and can't wait to read more of Jessica's work in the future.
He has never questioned his lot among the immortals, until now, until her. Sarah Serenity Tillman, a consummate beauty both inside and out, is a high school senior five months from graduation. She has great plans, dreams of leaving the small town of her childhood behind her forever. But destiny has other plans, and it's the Sandman's job to make sure those plans are fulfilled.

The tall muscular Sandman, known as Dari to his friends, dressed in black, wrapped in shadows, is more than a myth. And he has a job to do. His very existence makes him a creature of the night, because dreams, (yes the legends got that part right), were indeed his specialty. But his purpose was more than just weaving dreams for sleeping children. No, his dreams were made to influence, made to ensure that certain special individuals, those individuals who would change the course of history, actually accepted their chosen destiny.

Little does Serenity know that she is Dari's next assignment. And the dream he weaves for her, if she follows it's influence, will change the course of, not only her life, but possibly the whole of history as well. But she isn't the only one being influenced. The beauty inside of her was weighing on the Sandman, lighting up the darkness that was his constant companion. Her light was warmth, it was life, and he didn't understand how he had survived the previous millennium without it.

The Sandman was indeed greater than anything humans had ever imagined, and his purpose was vital to the course of history. So what happens when the weaver of dreams gets so distracted by a mere human that he ignores his own duties in the immortal realm? How can an immortal who never meant to have a mate, join a young woman in her destiny without irrevocably changing the lives of millions and potentially altering history in a way the Creator never intended?

"Dream of Me, Princess," Dari whispered into her ear.
"Then weave me a dream, Sandman," she said softly. "And we can dream together."
As her eyes grew heavy, she heard Dari's voice telling her to sleep, to open her mind to him and let her in. I'm all yours, she thought as sleep finally claimed her."

This book is about Brudair, Dair, The Sandman as known to the world. But he is not as everyone said he was. Made by the Creator, he weaves dreams not for everyone but for the ones God "The Creator" has a plan for. Not to tell them what to do, people have free will, but to influence them. All is well for Dair until he starts to fall for his next assignment, Sarah Serenity Tillman, the girl who's dream is to leave her childhood home for better things. Only that's not in the Creators plan, she has a bigger destiny waiting for her if only she'll follow it. But what if she falls for Dair too? The man never destine for a mate, love, is now ready to throw it all away for a girl who brings light into his lonely world. But is that in the Creators plan for her?

I read Quinn's "Gray Wolves" series and fell in love with the way she writes, It's so detailed and imaginative. It pulls you in and you just can't stop reading. I loved this book so much, not only do I love the legend of Sandman (especially the way Quinn writes it), but I love the idea of him working for God. Being a Christen myself I love finding authors that are Christians and write Christen books, but not boring ones! (Let's be honest Christen books aren't always exciting). I fell in love with Dair along with Serenity and who can't love Emma, such a smart girl for someone so young. I couldn't wait to read this book when I heard about it and after reading I can tell you that it's amazing and definitely worth the read. I HIGHLY recommended any of Quinn's books, All are amazing. And if you fell for Dair too wait until you read the "Gray Wolves" series, because let's be honest you'll fall in love with Fane as well. I love the way she write's her male characters but it makes it even cuter when you know that she base's them all off of her husband.... *le sigh* How sweet is that!?! I give this book five stars and think all of you should read it!!
Q#1. If you could give any advise to young writes what would it be?

A. Learn as much as you can. You learn by reading in the genres you want to write. Take classes or attend writing conferences--there are ever some free ones. (check out WriteOnCon held every August). Learn your onw language--I mean English grammar. Learn about story structure. There are so many great resources online. Check out Dan Well's classes on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KemiqQ9NpPe or Larry Brooks's series here: http://storyfix.com/story-structure-series-1-introducing-the-fore-parts-of-story

B. Get into a critique group if you can find a good one or find some good beta readers.
These are people who can give you some honest feedback. That can be hard for friends and family who don't want to hurt your feelings.

C. Keep writing. Don't expect perfection. You have to do this a lot to get good at it, and even after you're published your writing should continue to grow and mature.

D. Keep learning.Don't get arrogant and think you know it all.

Q#2. If you could co-write a book with anyone who would it be?

A. I think it takes a special kind of person to collaborate. I know a mother/daughter team who write under the name "Jo Noelle" They do a great job, but I'm not sure I could do what they do.

Q#3 Your favourite book series?

I have so many. In a lot of genres.

A. One of my favorites is the "Dragonriders of Pern" series by Anne McCaffrey--SciFi

B. Brandon Sanderson's "The Stormlight Archive" ("The Way of Kings" and "Words of Radiance" are the first two books in that series)--Epic Fantasy.

C. I discovered the "Anne of Green Gables" series when my kids were in school. I love to "visit" Prince Edward Island every couple of years.

D. While Dan Well's "I Am Not a Serial Killer" series is hard to read for me since I'm not normally into horror, it's a compelling read. Wells has done a phenomenal job of making sympathetic a character that, should not be. It deals with mental illness and, while dark, ends up being very positive.
I'm a Christian myself, *Baptist* even though I've never been confused with my religion, I have always loved reading about other religions. My favourite being the Indian and Arabic Culture/Religion. As said in the book the Muslims have a holiday called "Ramadan" which is when they fasted during daylight hours to know how it is to be homeless and starving. They spent their time focusing on prayer, charity and religions devotion. The Indian's have the holiday "Diwali" also known as "Deepavali" which is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in Autumn each year. Diwali is the biggest and the brightest festival in India. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of the light over darkness. The festival preparations and rituals typically extend over a five-day period, but the main festival of Diwail coincides with the darkest, new moon night of Hindu Lunisolar mouth "Kartika". In the Gregorian calendar, Diwali falls between mid-October and mid-November. And then Christians have Christmas and Jews have Hanukkah. In only words we all have our Holidays and beliefs and in this book we are shown the struggles of finding which on to believe and fit into. Over all this book was beautiful and helped me learn more about different religions. Highly recommend.
First of all just stop and look at that cover... how gorgeous is that? I read Lisa's "Theatre Illuminata" books back in 2013 so when I heard about this book I was so excited. I love Lisa's work so much and I've never read steampunk before so this was new to me. Penny was a character you can adore and relate to. I didn't really like Nic, he didn't seem very brotherly sometimes and he seemed emotionally abusive and wasn't ever that nice to Violet (who is his girlfriend). He'd blame his misery on everyone else. Other than that, I love this book so much!! I wanted something to happen between Marcus and Penny the whole time and then it finally happened, but I didn't feel like it was enough. I wanted more cuteness!! I loved the RiPAs, I kind of wish I had one. I didn't expect the thing with Seb and still don't know how I feel about him anymore because of it. Over all, I loved this book so much. It had all the action you could ask for. I don't know how some people couldn't get through it, I thought it was beautifully written and amazingly detailed. It had me flipping through the pages wanting to find out what happens next. This was just as good as the "Theatre Illuminata" books. I always look forward to reading Lisa's work and highly recommend her books!!!
Bertie thinks her quest is almost done. With the help of Ariel and the rest of her friends, she has managed to find her father and rescue Nate from Sedna, the Sea Goddess. Now, all she has to do is reunite her father, the Scrimshander, with her mother, Ophelia, and she will finally have a true family of her own.

However, things are never easy for Beatrice Shakespeare Smith. Bertie is caught between her growing responsibilities to home and family, and the dream of flying free - just as her heart is torn between her two loves, Nate and Ariel.

After rescuing Nate and finding her dad, Bertie thought she was done with Sedna. But she doesn't get away that easily. Sedna grew stronger and is coming back for revenge. Whilst trying to reunite her father and mother, Bertie's dad vanishes. Still stuck between the two lovers, Bertie has to decide where her heart really lies. I feel like this was the perfect way to end this trilogy. This book had everything you could ask for and it was executed in all of the right ways. Lisa never stops amazing me with how she writes and creates worlds no one would ever think of. Her writing style is gorgeous and has this feeling of magic to it. I have a love/hate feeling with how this book ended. For one thing, I was confused with the Theatre. I didn't understand them "Replacing" Bertie and her friends and that little Bertie had white hair like Ariel's... Didn't really get that. But I LOVE that she ended up with Nate!!!! I was team Nate all the way!!! I wasn't big on Ariel, but I didn't like him dying in the end. I thought he and Varvara would get together, not die. That was sad. Other than that I loved this book so much. The fairies kept me laughing and some scenes had me crying, others mad as hell. This book will have you feeling every feel. I always look forward to reading Lisa's books. Highly recommend!!
Growing up in a enchanted Theatre Illuminata, Bertie learned everything about every play ever written. She knew the Players and their parts-but she didn't know that she had a role to play, too. Now that she's discovered her own magic, she is the Mistress of Revels, the Teller of Tales. And she's ready to write her own story, outside the protective walls of the Theatre. But which way will her story go? Towards Nate, who's being held captive by the Sea Goddess, and loves Bertie dearly? Or should she write Ariel into her narrative? He's by her side everyday, and she's finding his charms so very hard to resist...

In this book The members of Beatrice Shakespeare Smith and Company (which includes Bertie, Ariel and her sidekick fairies) leave the Theatre to go to the outside world to save Nate from the Sea Goddess - but only Bertie can save him. The Sea Goddess has stolen Nate's soul and left his body to rot in the sea cave. Bertie's dreams are haunted by Nate, and only her love is keeping him alive. In the day her heart is held by Ariel, who has been freed from the Theatre and loves her, but she is fixated on Nate. Still, she strings Ariel along because she loves them both, which comes in handy later on. In the outside world Bertie and Company meet Waschbar a sneak-thief who used to be a... well, thief. He and his two ferrets join Bertie and her team on their adventure. She also meets The Scrimshander who turns out to be her father.

I've been told the second book is always the hardest to write but Lisa did an amazing job. I had read this book in December of 2013 and stayed up until two a.m to finish it. Just like the first, Lisa takes you into a world you never would have thought of, which is so beautifully detailed. I LOVED the concept of the Teller of Tales. I feel like being a writer is a lot like it because when an author sends their book out it brings a world to life in a reader's mind. The one thing I didn't like about this book was Ariel. It's not that I hate him or the way Lisa wrote him it's just I didn't fall for his "charm". He seemed very fake to me. I also never really could put a time on it. I never found out if it was in Shakespeare's time or not. I'm also not sure how I felt about everything with her dad, I kind of wanted more and for him to go back to her mom. Other than that, I enjoyed the book and LOVED the parts with Nate. (I'm on team Nate!!). Lisa, once again, wrote a wonderful book that I couldn't stop reading!! Highly Recommend!!
The actors are bound to the Theatre by The Book, an ancient and magical tome of scrips. Bertie is not one of the actors, but they her family. And she is about to lose them all because The Book has been threatened, and along with it the Theatre. It's the only home Bertie has ever known, and she has to find a way to save it. But first, there's the small problem of two handsome men, both vying for her attention. The course of true love never did run smooth..."

A friend of mine told me to read this book, for the fact that she had read it and loved it. Once I looked at it I was drawn in. The cover was quite beautiful and what it was about just sounded amazing. This world that Lisa has made is so utterly clever and extraordinary!!

The heroine "Bertie" was left on the doorstep of the Theatre and was found there by The Mistress of Revels, "Mrs. Edith". The Theatre has been the only home she has ever known and the cast the only family, but she is about to be cast out of the Theatre by the Theatre Manager because she's a "trouble maker" and doesn't have a role in the Theatre. Not wanting to leave the only home she's ever known, she strives to find a useful role in the Theatre. Aided by Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed and Peaseblossom, the fairies from "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and her dashing pirate Nate from "The Little Mermaid" all things go well. That is until Ariel, the seductive air spirit from "The Tempest" is hell-bent on being free and out of his bonds to the Theatre and rips the pages out of "The Book" (which holds every play ever written) setting everyone free - oh and lets not forget Nate get's kidnapped by Sedna "The Sea Goddess". Bertie try's to put the book together and bring her dashing pirate back. In a mind-twisting book where nothing seems to go how you predict it will, she's the girl who's determined it right.

This was Lisa Mantchev's debut novel, and for a first novel this was everything you could ask for. This book was perfect. It had a love triangle, humor, plot twists, drama, and who doesn't love fairies? This book was fascinating, vivid, beautiful, hilarious, sassy and imaginative. I highly recommended this to anyone who loves unmanageable, feisty fairies, dashing pirates, evil air spirits and magical, bawdy, electric heroines!!! This book could be for all ages (If you don't mind some language) In the end this book is something you could read over and over again and that you should read over and over again.
